Plus, it was just a short walk to Riga Castle, making it easy to explore the area without too much hassle.

The lack of air conditioning made my stay uncomfortable, especially with temperatures soaring to 26 degrees. The room had an unpleasant moldy odor, which detracted from an otherwise clean appearance. I was repeatedly told conflicting information by different receptionists.

Wi-Fi is spotty in certain areas, especially further away from the main corridor, and the breakfast area often feels cramped with limited seating. the lack of tea or coffee facilities in the rooms means you're relying on the front desk, and there’s a noticeable absence of fresh water during breakfast.

Edvards is perfectly located for exploring the Art Nouveau area, just a two-minute walk to the charming old town. The rooms are clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet offers an impressive variety including eggs, pastries, and local delicacies. The warm hospitality from the staff is the cherry on top!

Found this little gem after a bumpy start, the staff were super friendly and really made you feel at home. One morning, while my kids were going crazy over the breakfast choices, I got to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in peace and quiet, something you don't find often in hotels that cater to families.
